The FLT CTRL RESET switch can be used to reduce rudder pedal control forces if caused by a runaway or stuck yaw trim knob. Pressing the FLT CTRL RESET switch with a stuck yaw trim knob will zero out any yaw trim previously applied, permanently disable the yaw trim knob, and result in the Yaw Trim Fail (U) (caution) CAS message.
