AFM Procedure
[AFM, §03-21-40]
Possible Cause
Bleed air temperature exceeds temperature limits.
System Impacts
- Cabin Altitude: Will climb with both Bleed Air Systems failed and should reach 8000 feet in approximately 3 minutes at normal cruise altitudes.
- Wing Anti-Ice: Unavailable.
Corrective Action
- ENG BLEED AIR (Left and Right) . . . OFF
- Altitude . . . Coordinate immediate descent
- Pressurization . . . Verify cabin climb rate
- Airplane . . . Depart icing conditions
- WAI . . . OFF
- If Bleed Air is not required to complete the flight:
- Go to Step 8.
- If Bleed Air is required:
- Isolation Valve . . . Closed (Out)
- ECS/PRESS Synoptic Page . . . Select
- ENG BLEED AIR (Left or Right) (single only) . . . ON
- If the system operates normally with single bleed selected:
- If the Bleed Air Hot CAS message is displayed:
- If the system operates normally with single bleed selected:
- If the Bleed Air Hot CAS message is displayed:
- Continued Flight with Both Bleeds Secured
- RAM AIR (OHPTS / ECS) . . . Select
- Altitude Descend to 10,000 feet or minimum enroute altitude (if higher)
- CPC FAULT / MANUAL Switch . . . MANUAL
- CABIN ALT Knob . . . Climb (Full Open)
- Airplane . . . Land as soon as practicable
CAUTION
CABIN ALTITUDE WILL CLIMB WITH BOTH BLEEDS SECURED. DO NOT DELAY DESCENT.
(1) ECS . . . Monitor Single Pack Operations
(1) ENG BLEED AIR (Left and Right) . . . OFF
(2) ENG BLEED AIR (Left or Right) (Opposite Engine) . . . ON
(1) ECS . . . Monitor Single Pack Operations
(1) ENG BLEED AIR (Left and Right) . . . OFF
NOTE
Continued flight with the TROV full open prevents cabin overheat conditions.
