G500 Normal Procedures

  1. PARKING BRAKE . . . Set

  2. SEAT BELT / NO SMOKE PASSENGER WARNING . . . OFF

  3. NOTE

    Avoid engine shutdown between 00:00:00 and 00:00:30 UTC to enable normal rotor bow logic on subsequent engine starts.

    Delay 5 seconds between shutting down engines to reduce the likelihood of a break power transfer.

  4. FUEL CONTROLS (Left and Right) . . . OFF

  5. CAUTION

    CABIN DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE MUST BE AT OR BELOW 0.1 PSI BEFORE OPENING MED.

  6. Main Door . . . Open

  7. APU BLEED AIR . . . ON

  8. XPDR . . . Standby

  9. NOSEWHEEL STEERING POWER . . . OFF

  10. FCS BATTERIES . . . OFF

  11. EMERGENCY POWER . . . OFF

  12. NOTE

    Engine oil quantity indications are valid 10-30 minutes after shutdown on any TSC or the FQI, and should be checked after the last flight of the day.

  13. Oil Quantity . . . Check and Service (as required)

  14. CABIN/GALLEY / 60 Hz MASTERS . . . OFF

  15. APU . . . STOP

  16. APU MASTER (RPM less than 70%) . . . OFF

  17. TROV . . . Verify Closed

  18. MAIN BATTERIES (APU RPM is 0%) . . . OFF

  19. Wheel Chocks . . . In place

  20. PARKING BRAKE . . . As required

  21. Pins / Covers . . . Install

  22. CAUTION

    WHEN CLOSING THE MED, ACTIVATION OF AUXILIARY HYDRAULIC PUMP MAY TAKE UP TO 20 SECONDS. REMAIN CLEAR OF THE MED FOR 30 SECONDS FOLLOWING ACTUATION OF CLOSE SWITCH.

  23. Exterior Doors . . . Secure
