After Landing

Gulfstream GVII

Eddie sez:

As you taxi in and fire up the APU, you may notice a series of CAS messages that come and go. Your normal reaction will be "what was that?" followed by "oh, nothing" after all but the "Check CMC" go away. I've taken to taking video of the process and here is what I've come up with:

  • FCS Test in Progress
  • Sometimes we'll get that twice.

  • Check CMC
  • AC MPT 3 Fault
  • DC MPT 7-12 Fault
  • DC MPT 1-3-5 Fault
  • DCN Maintenance
  • AHRS 2 DB Mode
  • AHRS 2 Aligning
  • APU Gen On

We don't always get all of these, but these are the ones that happen now and then and don't seem to be a problem.

Everything here is from the references shown below, with a few comments in an alternate color.
