Possible Cause

A hot start even N1, N2, or TGT above limits.

System Impacts

  • Autothrottles: Inhibited. A/T 1-2 Fail CAS message will be displayed for duration of flight.

Corrective Action

  1. In Flight

    1. Affected Engine . . . Confirm

    2. POWER LEVER (Affected Engine) . . . Reduce power

    3. N1 / TGT / N2 . . . Indications Check

    4. If the engine operating limits can be maintained:

    5. (1) POWER LEVER (Affected Engine) . . . Operate at reduced setting

      (2) Airplane . . . Land as soon as practicable

    6. If engine operating limits cannot be maintained at reduced power:

    7. (1) POWER LEVER (Affected Engine) . . . IDLE

      (2) FUEL CONTROL (Affected Engine) . . . OFF

      (3) Refer to 04-08-10, Engine Shutdown in Flight.

  2. On Ground

    1. POWER LEVER (Affected Engine) . . . IDLE

    2. FUEL CONTROL (Affected Engine) . . . OFF
