[PAS, p. 11-47]

  • The navigation lights are housed within three light assemblies: 8 green LEDs on the right wing tip, 8 red LEDs on the left wing tip, and 4 white LEDs on the tail.
  • Come on automatically when APU Master selected On or manually via OHPTS, come off automatically when aircraft powered down.
  • The fault light on each assembly is steady if one LED has failed and that generates a cyan NAV/Strobe Maint Reqd CAS message.
  • The fault lights flash for multiple LED failures and that generates an amber L-R Tail NAV/Strobe Fail CAS message. The MEL says you can dispatch only during the day under this condition.
