System Impacts

  • Cabin Altitude: Will climb with both Bleed Air Systems failed and should reach 8000 feet in approximately 3 minutes at normal cruise altitudes.

  • Wing Anti-Ice: Unavailable.

Corrective Action

  1. Altitude . . . Coordinate immediate descent

  2. CAUTION

    CABIN ALTITUDE WILL CLIMB WITH BOTH BLEEDS SECURED. DO NOT DELAY DESCENT.

  3. Pressurization . . . Verify cabin climb rate

  4. Airplane . . . Depart icing conditions

  5. WAI . . . OFF

  6. ENG BLEED AIR (Left and Right) . . . OFF

  7. If Bleed Air is not required to complete the flight:

    1. Go to Step 8.

  8. If Bleed Air is required to complete the flight:

    1. BLD AIR Control SSPCs . . . PULL and RESET
    2. L BAS FAIL
      BLD AIR CTL CMD L: SSPC 3601
      BLD AIR CTRLR L 1: SSPC 3603
      BLD AIR CTRLR L 2: SSPC 3604
      R BAS FAIL
      BLD AIR CTL CMD R: SSPC 3602
      BLD AIR CTRLR R 1: SSPC 3605
      BLD AIR CTRLR R 2: SSPC 3606

    3. ENG BLEED AIR (Left and Right) . . . ON

  9. If the CAS Message remains displayed:

    1. ENG BLEED AIR (Left and Right) . . . OFF

    2. RAM AIR (OHPTS / ECS) . . . Select

    3. Altitude Descend to 10,000 feet or minimum enroute altitude (if higher)

    4. CPC FAULT / MANUAL Switch . . . MANUAL

    5. NOTE

      Continued flight with the TROV full open prevents cabin overheat conditions.

    6. CABIN ALT Knob . . . Climb (Full Open)

    7. Airplane Land as soon as practicable
