Corrective Action

  1. If below V1

    1. Takeoff . . . Abort

    2. Engine Failure Below V1 Checklist . . . Perform

    3. (1) Refer to 04-06-10, Engine Failure Below V1.

  2. If above V1

    1. Throttles . . . MTO

    2. NOTE

      FADEC will command the affected engine to idle regardless of position of throttle.

    3. Takeoff . . . Continue as single engine inoperative

  3. in Flight, or After Climb to Safe Altitude:

    1. T/R LEVERS . . . Verify stowed

    2. Affected Engine . . . Confirm

    3. Throttle (Affected Engine) . . . IDLE

    4. Airplane . . . Land as soon as possible

  4. Landing

    1. Landing Distance . . . Calculate

    2. FLAPS . . . Limit to 20° for landing

    3. GPWS Flap Inhibit (TSC/Aural Inhibits) . . . Select

    4. Airspeed . . . Maintain VREF (Flaps 20) + 10 KCAS

  5. After Landing

    1. T/Rs . . . As required
