I joke that I am a professional photographer because my photos appear in books and magazines. But it is a joke. I am an amateur photographer who greatly admires photographers who know what they are doing.
Here are a few examples, including the lucky shots of my own. (Appropriately, at the end.) Click on the Photographer's name for more of their excellent work.
Matt Birch is an air traffic controller in London, England; but that is only part of his story. He is an excellent photographer of all things aviation. Do yourself a favor and check out his website: http://visualapproachimages.com.
Adrian Vargo is a C-17 avionics maintenance technician who travels the world with a camera and gives us civilians a rare glimpse behind the airlifter's cockpit.
Mike Keller is the Chief Pilot for a major corporate operator in Asia and an accomplished Gulfstream pilot. You will recognize this photo if you have a copy of the International Operations Flight Manual. He also designed the Code7700 logo.
Even a blind dog finds a bone, now and then. Here are a few of mine.
